Over-the-Counter (OTC) Benefit

  • Help! I ordered an item and the item is broken/damaged. Can I get this item replaced?
  • Help! I went to an approved retailer, I scanned the item with the myTotal Benefits app, and I had funds available in my OTC account. However, my OTC purchase was denied at the register. Can I get reimbursement?
  • What if I’m shopping at a grocery store or pharmacy and bring OTC items and non-OTC items to the register. Do I have to do two transactions, one for OTC items and one for non-OTC items?
  • I don’t like going to the store and I prefer ordering off a catalog. Can I do that instead?
  • How will I know what OTC items are eligible for the OTC benefit?
  • Where can I go to purchase OTC items? Can I still go to CVS?
